Swiss French School method
The method used by Swiss French School consists of replicating the learning technique used for a mother tongue learner. It consists of listening carefully before repeating and practicing. The focus is placed on the acquisition of sounds, followed by the study of the grammar. This method has proven to be successful, with 97% of positive results.
Your learning process:
- Preparation for your French course: before your course (with a teacher), you must complete your interactive online lessons and exercises (online videos, texts, news paper articles, audio files, etc.). These materials allow you to prepare for each lesson, improve your pronunciation, expand your vocabulary, and familiarize with words, phrases, accents, and grammar rules.
- Evaluation exercises: each interactive online lesson will finish with a series of exercises that will be corrected by your teacher before your "exchange", i.e. your French course.
- Exchanges: these are held in small groups of 2 to 5 students maximum, and your teacher will encourage you to speak and then correct your accent.
- Workshops: these are complementary courses that focus on specific themes or on a particular area (for example, grammar, professional French, contemporary events, etc.).
